What is Aromatherapy Facial?

An aromatherapy facial uses natural products, as well as essential oils to benefit the skin and improve health and vitality.  It is very similar to a beauty medical treatment where skin concerns can be specifically targeted using certain oils.

Utilizing products in an Aromatherapy facial that feed the skin nutrients and oils can aid in the healing and repair of skin. According to the studies, 60% of what we apply to the sin, ends up in our bloodstream. Using natural and organic products that best mimic our own cell make-up, i.e. plant based or mineral based, can help to give our skin the nutrients and food it needs. The more organic, the better. Essential oils and their components are so micro that they penetrate the epidermis and enter the blood brain barrier within 2-3 minutes. This means after being topically applied, they arrive in our blood stream.

An aromatherapy facial can do a number of things: it cleans the skin on the face and décolletage; it sloughs off dead skin cells; it can feed the skin vital nutrients; it can act to rehydrate the skin; balances and replenishing for the skin fresh full of vitality and glowing (more details about the benefits on the list below).

  3. Now massage your face using olive oil or any other pure oil according to your skin type. Be gentle and do it for the next 7 minutes and let it sit for the next 5 minutes. Lastly, clean it using a wet towel or cotton ball.
  4. Now take a natural scrub and scrub it on your face in circular motion for 10 minutes. You can also use a homemade face scrub to do the job perfectly.
  5. Gently clean off the face with cotton and apply a homemade face pack and rinse it off with water. Or simply wash the face off with normal water.
  6. In the end, apply a moisturizer on your face.
